La Roche d'Ajoux (alt 980 m) or "fairy table" is a place rich in history and legends from where you can discover at 340° (from North East to South East): the Jura, the Dombes, the north of the Beaujolais mountains, Brionnais/Charolais, the Madeleine mountains, the Loire plain, the Forez mountains, the Beaujolais Vert mountains and valleys, the Azergues valley, the Lyonnais mountains and finally the plain of the Saône and the Alps in the background. Only Mont Blanc is missing, in the blind spot behind the trees!
