I used to save all my recipes on Pinterest but this is so much better now. It's much neater and I love having these nicely organized and laid out recipe cards instead of having to deal with food blog links that are riddled with ads. Also, I love the little touch that your phone screen will never turn off as long as you have a recipe open. It's so convenient! I use the free version which has some ads but remains non intrusive. The meal planning feature is also great. Highly recommend this app!

I like using cookmate for my recipes because my older pc based recipe manager is no longer supported. Fortunately I was able to export all my recipes seemlessly to cookmate. It works on any computer with a browser and a handy app for my phone. Both versions stay in sync. While I haven't yet explored all the features of cookmate yet I am really enjoying using it.

It has the makings of a great app. However, there is sinister trappings within. They have a plethora of ads clogging up the top of the screen. And you cannot locate a search icon to search for your recipes. When I got a new phone and logged on none of my recipes transferred over. They allow you to add over the amount of recipes and then they lock some of your recipes until you upgrade to premium. Very tricky and unprofessional. Don't fall for the trap, find a recipe app that's truly free.
