About this app

LineAlert uses your GPS location and overhead power grid mapping to alert you when you are approaching a power line.
It offers several adapted/combined alerts depending on the proximity of the overhead electricity network:
• Sound & voice alert differentiated according to distance: 80m, 50m or 30m.
• Light alert (use of flash).
• Vibration alert.

When the application is first launched, the Enedis and RTE electricity network is downloaded, within a radius of 50 km from your position. It operates within the Enedis scope, and covers ELDs as agreements are signed.
LigneAlerte does not collect any data and works without the need to create an account. It is a free application and does not have any in-app purchases.

At the first launch, LigneAlerte asks for authorization to use:
• GPS location: this authorization is necessary to locate you and is essential for the proper functioning of the application.
• The camera: this authorization is necessary for the light alert which uses the flash.
