This is a great widget and one that I've been using for over 4 years. It's infinitely customisable, lightweight and reliable. Unfortunately, the developer stopped supporting it years ago so download the slightly updated version off the XDA Developers website instead.
Almost perfect! The screenshots don't do this app much justice! Once configured properly it's simply unbeatable. Almost every aspect is tweakable and you can set it up to your taste with little effort. I've been using it over a year now and it keeps me updated with latest news of interest daily from my home screen which is super convenient because I never need to remember to open an app to get a dose of the news. Just wish the developer would come back to the project and fix a few minor gripes.
Need serious optimisation on s6 edge This app used to be amazing on my opo but on my s6 edge it has some performance issues, very sluggish and slow it is. Other than that I know this is a great one, I'll change my rating after the fix. (I have done every possible thing to remedy this problem but no luck) Thanks
Prefect when it works Great amount of customizable features - just what I was looking for in a widget. But now the widget will sporadically stop launching a browser so that I can't actually read the stories. I am forced to keep replacing the widget on my home screen several times a week.
Rather Good The widget itself is exactly what I'm looking for, but the article reader needs work. It has a huge navigation bar at the top, wasting screen space, and it doesn't scroll away. It also does not appear in your open apps menu, so the only way to get back to the article you were just reading, is to go to the widget, find and click on it, and load the article all over again. Luckily you can make it use you phone's browser.
Best Taptu Replacement! After taptu went down I was looking for a decent replacement especially with a versatile widget. Scrollable News is by far the best app for that. The widgets of feedly or gReader Pro can't compete at all.
