• CUSTOMIZED ROUTES & GPS
The app adapts to your bike type, speed, and preferred route type. Geovelo prioritizes bike lanes, cycle paths, and low-traffic roads for your comfort, safety, and peace of mind. Geovelo includes real-time guidance with map, full-screen, and compass modes, along with voice guidance and notifications.

• STATISTICS & AUTOMATIC RECORDING
Simply ride with the Geovelo app installed, and your journeys are automatically detected and recorded. You can review them within the app. Please note that you'll need to grant location access when the app is closed or in the background for this feature to work.

• A VIRTUOUS CITIZEN APP
Data generated from journeys recorded with the Geovelo app are anonymized and used solely to analyze and improve bike-friendliness in partner cities.

• BIKE INFRASTRUCTURE AND BIKE PARKING

Ratings and reviews

I've been using Strava to track my rides for lack or a good alternative, this app is the first that seems to offer a good one. I would have two feature requests that, if implemented, would let me get rid of Strava for good: 1- adding different bikes to my profile and associate rides with specific bikes, this lets me track distance and helps plan maintenance of some parts like internally geared hubs (IGH). 2- truncate and split recordings. sometimes I forget to stop so I need to truncate it.

Watch app is useless? Does nothing? I can press start recording and nothing happens. I enabled permissions on my watch (Galaxy 6 Classic). Account is set up on my phone. Baffling.

Doesn't sync with Health Connect. I like that you can input your average speed, and get accurate timelines as a result. Also it would be nice to opt for the route with less/more elevation.
