IGN Maps is the 100% free cartographic and navigation application designed by IGN, available on mobile and tablet. Find the precision of IGN base maps (IGN plan and topographic maps) combined with the wealth of thematic geographic data offered by the IGN and its partners (administrative, land, agriculture, forestry, tourism, protected areas, transport, etc.) to explore and understand the French territory.

Amazingly detailed and accurate. Maps include versions of IGN, aerial, Topo25 maps and plans of which you can choose. Those can be combined with 35 optional layers like cadastral, public forests, natural risks, hydrographics, transportinformation, points of interests and many more.

Basically a trimmed-down version of their website. The update makes the UI prettier but heavier, overloaded with features while losing some functionality (e.g. no more geological maps). No way to display local tiles, no way to import tiles from OGC-compliant servers. In a nutshell, one is better served using their website in a mobile browser.

Awesome, made my France holiday so much better. Detailed maps (like UK OS maps) available free, it even caches the data so you can use maps offline. Location quickly showed on maps. Thanks!
