This is a cool and light concept for a launcher. I am loving it
the icon is just a soft-corner-square before I click anywhere, which wasn't the case before, and which I don't like
I am giving KISS five stars for being unique from most other launchers. It is a really cool launcher but I would not say that it saves memory or battery as it uses as much resources as other launchers like Smart. I really like that once you start using it, it becomes very easy to do the things I use my phone for. With other launchers I get obsessed with having all the apps I expect to use within easy access. I would use folders, additional pages etc. But with KISS you start to realize that you only really use a few apps on a regular bases. Apps you don't use can be accessed quickly with the search. Also, the search being the main feature, is brilliant in that it puts you a click from anything you need to get to like apps, web searches and contacts. Looking forward to see where the developers takes this....
Very fast! Only one suggestion for the "green or white circle" method call i.e. quickbar or quicklist: have it generate a list of lists; two is good enough, of which each sublist will contain 4 or 5 nodes and each node will point to an app. Hehe. Moreover, swiping the first sublist left, NOT right--I need the move my s-pen away to see the first list--and have it iterate over to the 2nd sublist. Thanks! (Ps: works great on Note 4.) 2018 Update: love the easy of use, and still enjoying this launcher, but having an auto-landscape mode would be indespenseable for those times when you have your phone in a car dash mount for gps (and need to open your gps app or . . . you get the picture).
It takes a few days of use to get used to but, when you do, it's very efficient. For the first 5 minutes, I thought, "what is this rubbish? It's far too limited!". I was so used to swiping left and right to get different home screens and this launcher only has 1. However, it has cut out the distractions of Google Now, which was my main reason for trying a different launcher. The usability has been thought through very well - excellent work.
Very simple and lightweight. There is an issue that the history list has a lag of a few seconds before it opens up. A small request: Please add a feature to toggle mobile data on/off.
