It's pretty good at pretending to do what it says it's doing but it is just pretending. This is a joke of an app. I asked it to play 1960s music from Brazil and it played the Life aquatic theme by Sue George. See George may sound like 1960s music from Brazil but the Life aquatic themed is definitely not 1960s Brazilian music. If you don't care about authenticity this app does a pretty good job mimicking you think the region and date that you're choosing will sound like. But it is not particularly going to be that music
I love the idea of this app but this app and is web service have so much problems when it comes to uploading music and account management. It keeps login you out and the upload function just plain doesn't work on both the web browser en the app. I will come back later and try again. :(
I like it a lot, but two things turn me off: 1. The music won't play in the background. You have to have the app open in order to play the music. 2. When I favorite a song, there is no way for me to access a list of my favorites.
A REALLY Cool Idea! Brendon Urie gave you guys a shout-out in one of his Instagram live-streams! That's how I found my way here! He raved about this app, and I think I will be, as well.
One of the greatest ideas there has ever been Could probably improve the functionality, but quite frankly if this isn't worth 5 stars then I just don't know.
A great concept, imperfectly implemented. It works great for me when I open it fresh, make my selections, and let it play. It has trouble sometimes if I change country or decade settings after it's underway, like 'forgetting' the decade a record came out. (I suspect this is what happened to the guy complaining about Seu Jorge not being 1960s music, because he definitely is Brazilian. A bug, not a deception.)
