The Web radio "Esprit Occitanie" has given itself the mission of providing its listeners with avenues for reflection, possibly keys to understanding the world, to open up and decompartmentalize thought, to offer other plural perspectives, and even - this is important - moments of pleasure and relaxation.

"Esprit Occitanie" sees programs on various themes - economic, social, philosophical, societal, historical, political, medical, literary, musical…. - so that our curiosity at your service accounts for Others, their diversity and these differences which enrich us.
The web radio "Esprit Occitanie" responds to a reflection and an observation inherent in the state of our changing society. So many maneuvers made easy by a world that has become more and more complex, in permanent and rapid change, an uncertain or even dangerous world, shaped by ideas, movements, protean interests. Our societies are affected by a weakening of the very notion of Culture, as well as by a dangerous loss of the diversity of thought, which sees each one shut himself up in his universe, no longer participating in collective life, all leading to l 'emergence of cognitive layers which overlap but no longer intersect, except to confront each other more and more violently.

The creation of the generalist radio station "Esprit Occitanie" with a cultural vocation is therefore part of this process.
This radio takes its time to get to the bottom of the issues, and do so through broadcasts in sometimes long format (minimum thirty minutes, usually an hour). She makes her work available to listeners through a library of podcasts, allowing them to choose their themes and listen to them where and when they want.
The consumption patterns of radio media have evolved considerably and live broadcasts are less and less followed. The fault lies with the mobile phone, the screens and stressful living conditions where the constant rush to ever faster no longer allows serene and reflective listening.
