Good but slow It seems well designed, but there's a lot of lag on my old HTC wildfire S, more than I've seen with other progs.
Great app Lightweight and functional, i programmed a 3d game from scratch using this, those bulky features arent worth the computing expense to me. Would give 5 stars for a snap-to zoom feature though instead of manually increasing font size, maybe a pinch type UI would be sweet. No extra features though just that :-)
Best of the Best ,most small,n easy IT Replace stupid NOTE, You dont wanna any long to open editor.... That can only hold 10 LINE texts and dosen of commercial ads. If you do, you ll use qu*c*office ! Words, or etc.
Good Potential, Irritating Deficiencies I've used it to open some huge files, and the settings are comprehensive, and I like the Recent Files. It handles RTL (Arabic) well. OTOH, I can either select one word, or the whole document, nothing in between. Refreshing lines under edits often gets scrambled. Sometimes the positioning of edits changes wildly. Worst: no concept of current working directory, so every time I open, or saves as, requires a new navigation down to where I'm working. These are all for small files.
Always liked this little editor and is just what my device needed: as the description states, a "lightweight Notepad-style text editor not meant for large documents." Has a small footprint yet still provides the essentials needed for basic text creation/modification. It is NOT a substitute for a full blown word processor like MS Word nor does it claim to be. The 5★'s is based on how it performs relative to the description – on that basis it actually exceeds expectations. Wishlist: a few more text/background color combinations would be nice.
Useless editor - so slow on S4 Its runs so slow on a galaxy S4 that I am unable to select text to edit it. Love that it is open source and permissions require no network access. But its usable
- Bug fix : Force close on Open / Save / Save as on devices running Froyo and Gingerbread
- Bug fixed : current file / last loaded file
- Updated notification system
- Possibility to modify the text font used by the editor (You can use any ttf font located on your device's internal and/or external storage)
