A half-done product Pros: Ad-free! Interface looks decent. Both the main text editing setting windows. Cons: issues with tabs & indentation: - Missing: use spaces for tabs - No auto-identation. - Doesn't accept tabs from my bluetooth keyboard. Instead tab key simply switches focus on UI controls. Conclusion: not fit for serious work (yet)
It seems to work... ...but i think i like 'simple text editor' better. At least this was better than Jota for me. I dont like any app that puts eulas or ads in my face first thing. I didn't have any problems like that with this one, so i say it's a good alternative.
Great app Lightweight and functional, i programmed a 3d game from scratch using this, those bulky features arent worth the computing expense to me. Would give 5 stars for a snap-to zoom feature though instead of manually increasing font size, maybe a pinch type UI would be sweet. No extra features though just that :-)
Not Very Useful I can edit a note pad file OK.. but this program opens all my text files even though I don't want to use it for that.... lots of errors and lookin for controls. Jota+ text editor is a far better program.
No Ads Simple Editor Just created a simple html document with this little text editor. If you write your own code its not bad for making files on your phone. Also a good simple text editor with no ads and easy to use.
Light weight text editor with minimal permissions. Simple, quick, and easy to use, though with so much choice out there, the lack of required permissions was the reason I originally chose this app. Spoilt by the lack of a Share option and its inability to Delete files. An addition I'd like would be an option in Settings to select a default folder for "Open" & "Save As" (ie a selectable working folder for TED), along with a separate option to start the app with that folder open.
- Bug fix : Force close on Open / Save / Save as on devices running Froyo and Gingerbread
- Bug fixed : current file / last loaded file
- Updated notification system
- Possibility to modify the text font used by the editor (You can use any ttf font located on your device's internal and/or external storage)
Read aloud and on screen web pages, PDF, DOC, TXT, EPUB and FB2 files and more.
