About the developer:
Hey! My name is Lente. I started working on Spilled! at the end of 2022. It is my first commercial release. I paused school and bought my own small boat to live on, which lowered my cost of living and allowed me to fully focus on Spilled! for a while. Once my savings ran out, I ran a successful Kickstarter, which kept me afloat all the way up until release! I am so happy I have been able to follow my dreams. I hope you like Spilled!

+1 star for pretty graphics. That's basically all that's going for it. Controls are so painfully bad, I'm spending more time trying to line up the stupid scoop thingy than actually cleaning much of anything. Not too much lag, but that's because my phone is burning hot trying to keep the fps stable. Also, less than 15 minutes of gameplay sucked up a full 10% of my battery, on a phone that I have had for less than a week.

I found the demo to be very cute and just the right amount of active but cozy that still engaged me while being enjoyable to look at. I did find quite a bit of lag when the screen had one or more different areas on view at the same time. It felt like loading buffering as the game tried to load all of the assets. I also was able to frequently glitch bottles outside of my catch if I was close enough to a land mass. This quickly became frustrating and created a new struggle that wasn't appealing.

I like this game. I'd recommend it even. But your biggest enemy is not the spillage or the opposing boat... It's the hit detection on your collector with the bottles. They will clip through your collector, meaning multiple passes as the same singular bottle. Also there is a bug where if you sail past the ending pier, the game softlocks. Worth the money, I don't regret my time with it. But it needs polish.
