So far I have played partway into chapter 3. The game has been an enjoyable if fairly basic JRPG, mostly hampered by the lack of ability to modify your builds; every character's progression is linear with only 5-node path splits in the AP tree offering short-term growth choices, and equipment has been naught but direct upgrades. Still, attacks have impactful effects beyond damage and so I have enjoyed assembling what tools are provided into an efficient and unyielding engine of destruction.

Played for several years. This is a quality jrpg game despite the gacha aspect, but technical issues are massively holding it back. Regardless of your download speed, you can expect every update to take hours. And that's if you allow the game to remain in focus, because downloading in the background doesn't appear to happen. For a mobile game, that's a big problem because by the time it finishes (if it does), your window to play is gone. Update: this is still an issue.

I'm loving this game! The storyline is engaging & good for mental health, the graphics are stunning, and the mechanics are simple at first and gradually become more complicated. (I'm not a strategist, but the Reddit community is super helpful.) Time travel has always fascinated me, so that's a major hook. But they also have all these side stories you can play, including collabs with other games (like Chrono Trigger and FFIX - though some content is expiring soon). So much fun - plus cats!!
