From its modest beginnings as a three-day conference with 389 attendees the first year, the GHC has grown to become the largest hurricane conference in the United States, with up to 4,000 participants. The now six-day event includes up to four days of training with an additional two days of workshops, a general session and a two-day Exhibit Hall which showcases the latest in hurricane-related products and services.
The 28th Annual GHC, with more than 46 training sessions and 48 workshops, is the premier event for the delivery of economical training and education to ensure our ability to adequately respond to, and recover from, tropical cyclones. This year’s training sessions, workshops, and general session will focus on innovative methods to “#RethinkRisk.” We welcome you to be a part of the discussion and contribute to our collective efforts.
