Needs Improvement A good software. Literally shows the nearby wifi devices but their directions are not correct every time. Secondly angle selection option further confuses you. So it is recommended if the software is further simplified by eliminating the angle selection option and POINTING THE PRECISE DIRECTION OF AVAILABLE WIFI DEVICE.
Works but poor implementation of progress bars Instructions say "Rotate slowly to your right while keeping the main and secondary progress bar aligned." The two bars are on the same line so one obscures then other. Please can you alter it as they need to be seperated out into two lines side by side so you can see if they match. thank you.
Best is the word. This app works as stated. I discovered thru this app that low rated apps are better to try than the 5 stars. Just follow instruction and see how the radar perform wonder. Exactly what I was looking for and better than all others I tried. Thank u for this great idea that proved to be 100% accurate. Highly recommeded.
Good idea but... My first scan was accurate (but result flipped) my 3rd scan results was totally mess up, you needs to improve the consistency of result. Anyway it is a nice idea, htc one x with caynogen mod
5* for concept, but wifi specification makes this iffy at best Wifi scan interval plays too much into when a signal is received which will make results unreliable. Perhaps there is a way to account for this? Slower rotation maybe? Perhaps let the user rotate at their own speed and press a virtual button when they are done? Key here being to give the wifi enough time to be detected while you're pointed at it.
Good idea but ... ... I could not get reliable results following the instructions to the letter. Shame because it has so much potential. I get the impression that, indoors, the WiFi signal is reflected from some surfaces (metal?) and this adversely affects the results. I will try using it outdoors (when it's finally stopped raining!).
