I have played this game since it released and after making it to the max level and the third job release I have realized the paywall is high. I buy the kafra pass the kingdom pass and then spend anywhere from $200 to $500 monthly and I can't even get gold drops in instances or boss hunts. All the important mechanics are by chance, shadow equipment, refines, upgrades are all a percentage out of 100%. Once Ragnarok 3 comes I'm leaving this money pit behind. Too much work for too little results.

The longer I play as F2P, the more i realize the game is not for free players. The company seems to hate their own players. Very low rates for Refinement, very rare drops for Jewelstones when mining, no chance for players to control the drops. Crafting stuff increases exponentially. And there is no point to creating more than one character under the same account, even if you pay for the game, it is Per Character. I regret not making my characters on different accounts at the start.

A lot of auto everything - made it to level 29. Limited options when making a character are disappointing. Limited resources (stamina/materials/etc) during playing limits gameplay and character growth, which isn't fun. I've played Ragnarok Origin and was able to play on my phone when not home and then play on my PC when I am home. I'm unable to do that here as the server lists are different per platform and will likely have me quit and uninstall the game. I cannot recommend this game.
