Underground App is a social media platform that connects fans with underground artists. The Underground was created because of a strong need from fans too easily connect with emerging artists in film, comedy, spoken word and music at home and on the go. Underground App's main objective is to level the playing field for unsigned artists, so they can connect with current fans and generate new ones. For this reason, Underground App is only for the emerging artists, not for artists already signed by a large record label or a major movie studio.

How does Underground App work?

Artists would sign up and create a profile. In the profile artists would let us know what type of artist they are and their genres. So for example if the artist is a film maker and only make documentaries and action movies, they would fill this out in the profile section and start posting. Now when a fan creates a profile and only wants to find emerging film makers that make documentaries and action movies within a 50 mile radius of where ever they are, that's all that will appear in their feed. As the fan moves around their feed will change because it will only show film makers that make documentaries and action movies within 50 miles of where ever the fan is located. Fans can find musicians, comedians and spoken word artists.
