Ratings and reviews

Certainly the brightest flashlight app that I've used. Brighter than my stock flashlight which comes in handy when I need that extra light. My only complaints are one, when you turn off the screen on your phone the flashlight also turns off. Two and most important, the app asks for too many permissions, as stated here by other users. So for that reason I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars. Aside from that, this is the best flashlight app that I've used thus far. Runs smoothly as well.

The weird thing it absolutely is the brightest of the flashlights because I compared it to 5 others. I'm not sure how they did that , Since they all use the same light. However that being said it is Advertisement generated and apparently tracks a lot of your information. I would love it if they had a paid version where it was simply the best flashlight without all the trash.

For those that think you can safely turn off the bad parts (selling of device identifiers, selling geolocation to other entities, etc.) of this app are mistaken. This app garnered the attention of the FTC over a decade ago for its practices. It hasn't changed anything but it's name and let's users know that they do in fact do those things.
