With the UV Index search, you can check the UV index of any location (currently only US is supported) by using the city/state or zipcode. The purpose of this app is to help people to effectively protect themselves from UV light, which can cause sunburn, eye damage, skin aging and skin cancer.
UV index is an international standard for the strength of ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun at a specific position on a given day. This typically occurs when the sun is at its highest, ie at midday.
Sun UV Protector alerts you when you have to reapply your sunscreen depending on the current location and time. It provides useful information about the sunscreen that has to be used depending the skin type.
Sun UV Protector automatically locates your current position, measures the UV Index and initializes a count-down timer with alarm. The UV Index data comes from satellite data specially processed and covers the entire world.

Ultraviolet Radiation can be extremely harmful for all people, especially for children and white skin types. Everyone who has to work outdoors or just wants to enjoy the sun must be extremely careful on how long he can exposure his skin on sun radiation.
We live in a world where we are constantly wired, connected and switched-on – on the phone, on the computer, in the car, always in front of screens, zooming all around. While not as harmful as heavy doses of ionizing radiation, the medical field keeps finding out the low-grade electromagnetic radiation from these devices isn’t completely harmless. N8 State was formed with the mission to protect all living things from the harmful effects of Low-grade Electromagnetic Radiation.

Hur fungerar appen?
Appen räknar fram den ultravioletta strålningens styrka i solljuset (UV-index) för den aktuella tiden på året och för platsen (breddgraden) med hänsyn till normalt ozonskikt samt beräknar en soltid efter hur känslig du uppger att du är för sol. Det UV-index som appen använder gäller vid klart väder med en molnfri himmel, fri horisont och vid havsytans nivå eller på måttlig höjd över havet. Appen använder GPS för att hämta din position. GPS-funktionen används inte utan din tillåtelse. Det går bra att använda appen utan GPS, men då måste du antingen välja plats från en lista över resmål eller genom att manuellt ange ett UV-index. Kontrollera att din mobiltelefon är inställd på aktuell lokal tid, så att beräkningen blir korrekt.
Appen kräver inte internetuppkoppling och kan därför användas utomlands med telefon och nätverksfunktioner avstängda. Då är du säker på att det inte kostar dig något extra.

Through a very simple and intuitive interface are provided the following calculations:
* Pace: Calculation of pace in min/km or min/mi for a given distance and time.
* Total Time: Calculating the total time for a given distance and race pace.
* Scoring: Calculation of time required to run a certain distance and reach the desired score. Based on the Hungarian Table.
* Target Time: Calculate the expected time to run a distance, based on time from another distance already ran. For example, based the time of the 10K, you can estimate your time to finish a marathon.
* Body Mass: Calculation of body mass index.
* Estimated VO2: Calculation of VO2 estimated based on recent time for the 10K.
* Calories Burned: Calculation of calories expended for an activity-based pace, exercise time and weight of the athlete.
* Pace Table: From the athlete's age calculates the heart rate interval for different training paces.

Recent research suggests that exposure to blue light before sleep may distort your natural (circadian) rhythm and cause inability to fall asleep.
The cause is the photoreceptor in your eyes, called Melanopsin. This receptor is sensitive to a narrow band of blue light in the 460-480nm range which may suppress Melatonin production - a hormone responsible for your healthy sleep-wake cycles.
In experimental scientific studies it has been shown an average person reading on a tablet or smart phone for a couple of hours before bed time may find their sleep delayed by about an hour.
The Twilight app makes your device screen adapt to the time of the day. It filters the blue spectrum on your phone or tablet after sunset and protects your eyes with a soft and pleasant red filter. The filter intensity is smoothly adjusted to the sun cycle based on your local sunset and sunrise times.
