DaBus2 app takes the guesswork out of catching the bus on the island of Oahu. It uses the arrival information, courtesy of the Oahu Transit Services (OTS) to provide the best estimated time on when the next bus will arrive. This app also tracks the current location of the bus so you know exactly where it is located on the map. It is the app to download when you are in Hawaii.

UPDATE: GPS tracking still not working. Integration of the Skyline train with the bus and changes to routes played havoc with this app. Routes are no longer accurate, timings not accurate and the app administrators do not appear to have kept up. In some instances the app would not display tracking data. At this point the better and more reliable option is Google Maps.

I'd put zero if it gave me the option to. Never lets us know when the bus coming is cancelled until it's too late and bus drivers being 30-40 minutes late then what's on schedule and even missing their stops!! It's more expensive and somehow the service is a lot worse than what it used to be. The app and the entire transit system needs to be revamped. $80 a month just to stand and wait for40 minutes just for the bus to be cancelled. Better off investing in a bike or scooter.

Used to be a good and useful app, but is now basically unusable. Bringing up arrival times rarely works anymore, usually just stays on a blank screen forever. Even when you can see arrival times tracking rarely works. Just use Google Maps Transit instead.
