LA Wallet will allow you to keep a digital representation of your current Louisiana-issued state ID or driver's license. The app will generate a unique image that is 100% Legal for driving purposes per Louisiana law of Act 625 of the 2016 session and approved by the Louisiana ATC for age-restricted purchases at various local restaurants, bars, and retail outlets. Once a user activates their current, valid license in LA Wallet, the digital driver’s license is valid for the life of the user’s current identity credential issuance. When the user’s physical license expires, they must renew their license with the OMV or through the LA Wallet app, if eligible. Additionally, LA Wallet offers the paid service VerifyYou™ Pro, an age-verification tool that helps keep businesses ATC compliant when offering home delivery of age-restricted goods.

i had an account and everything worked fine until i accidentally deleted the app. it took me a little while to realize what i'd done but as soon as i did i reinstalled it, but every time i try to login to my account it says 'oops an error has occurred while processing your request. please try again later.' i've tried periodically for 2 days to login and i get that message every time. so it's 100% useless now.

The app works exactly as intended and I have never had any problems with it. However, the app icon has been a blank space with no graphics for lord knows how long, seemingly since it adopted Material You icon theming. It's as if they started something to add it and never finished, and it's a bit jarring. I figured putting it here would bring awareness to the developers.

Just downloaded on new phone and every time i click login it closes app. I have deleted and reinstalled app. got a pop messages stating the app has bug and will not work until developer fixes issue from my phone. going through reviews I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.. one would assume an update to fix this would of already been added since January considering how many users have brought up this issue 🤔
