About this app

LA Wallet will allow you to keep a digital representation of your current Louisiana-issued state ID or driver's license. The app will generate a unique image that is 100% Legal for driving purposes per Louisiana law of Act 625 of the 2016 session and approved by the Louisiana ATC for age-restricted purchases at various local restaurants, bars, and retail outlets. Once a user activates their current, valid license in LA Wallet, the digital driver’s license is valid for the life of the user’s current identity credential issuance. When the user’s physical license expires, they must renew their license with the OMV or through the LA Wallet app, if eligible. Additionally, LA Wallet offers the paid service VerifyYou™ Pro, an age-verification tool that helps keep businesses ATC compliant when offering home delivery of age-restricted goods.

i had an account and everything worked fine until i accidentally deleted the app. it took me a little while to realize what i'd done but as soon as i did i reinstalled it, but every time i try to login to my account it says 'oops an error has occurred while processing your request. please try again later.' i've tried periodically for 2 days to login and i get that message every time. so it's 100% useless now.

The LA Wallet app works as it should as long as I am connected to mobile data through my phone service. If I try to use the app whilst connected to my home's Wi-Fi, it gives me the "Well this is embarrassing" error 😳. I've tried troubleshooting my Wi-Fi to no avail. I first learned of the issue last hunting season when I tried to open the app while at home.

I do not like the fact that I now have to set a passcode or some sort of security measure for my phone's lock screen to unlock my phone when the LA Wallet app could simply please set to use its own passkey instead of my phone's as I do not have time to punch in face recognition or hit a passkey or whatever I would rather just swipe the screen unlock my phone and use a passkey on the La app alone you are forcing us to do this fix it or I will uninstall the app and go back to my physical IDs
