The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s BMI (Body Mass Index) calculator is a useful tool to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems. The downloadable phone application puts the fully functioning calculator right on your phone, along with links to resources on the NHLBI site.

It does exactly what it says it does, with no extra fluff. I would like to be able to enter "lbs" with one decimal. My digital scale measures wieght in "kg" and can display in "kg" or "lb" with the later to one decimal place.

This APP requires no effort to use. It is truly self explanatory! Enter 3 data points Height in Feet and Inches followed by entering your Weight and press the Calculate button and you receive your result. One potential improvement could be, if the large section would display the same color as the BMI number and the BMI numerals could be displayed white or blackas a choice of the individual. I read the reviews that pleaded for decimal points and downloaded the app, anyway. Now that I have trird it, I see how important the decimal is. The app is small, easy to use, and has a lot of useful info in one place. But, I'm going back to the website.
