I am glad to see this app is growing in popularity - ever since I first heard about voluntary crowd distributed computing and data aggregation for research, I knew it would certainly become big. To see it now in an app running on the Android mobile platform, the avenues have really opened up & I am glad to share a fraction of processing power and data snapshots with the NOAA. Plus the app isn't built on just yanking resources & data - it provides useful references/tools you can use for your own benefit. I find it interesting to see when & where magnetic anomalies arise and the solar magnetic storm meter is also useful. The app works perfect on my Huawei Mate 9 running Android 7 - I haven't had a single issue since install. I'd like to see more projects arise to participate in like this one. I think it's time Prof.s started to raise the bar for some of their grad students trying to get published - force them to cross disciplinary lines & get moving.
Nice app. Really cool. Not tracking any data I record though. Number in my status is always zero. Mobile uploading is allowed and so are auto readings. Still nothing. Please fix.
Doesn't allow migrating this app to external storage.
I like the idea behind this app, unfortunately on all three of my phones it"s a bit flaky. On the Wileyfox Swift it requires a compass recalibration every couple of minutes, on the Samsung I-9100 it just crashes and hangs the phone, on the Galaxy Mini 2 it"s just generally unstable. A cut down version of this software which just uploads the data to your server for older phones would be nice, as I could then use one of the older "retired" phones I have as a dedicated fixed location sensor.
You updated it 2 days ago, April 7 and it still crashes when you click on the compass. And I Uninstalled and re-installed it twice
It's a good app but crashes every single time...
Clearing my data, will now not delete your status.
