About this app

MOVE! Coach Mobile is a weight loss app for Veterans, service members, their families, and others who want to lose weight. This 16-week program guides users to successful weight loss or weight management through education, and use of tools, in an easy and convenient way. Users can monitor, track, and receive feedback regarding their progress with weight, diet, and exercise goals.

Some Key Features:

•Self-Management Modules – Educate users on a variety of weight-management success strategies using videos, worksheets, games, and other tools. Modules are made available weekly based on your progression through the 16-week program.
•Tracker – Assists users to track weight daily, set weight loss and SMART goals, and see progress reports and summaries
•Tools – Provides users with calculation tools and tools to manage stress
•Support – Helps users identify supports and resources for successful weight loss


This app can be used by itself, but additional benefit may be achieved if used in combination with treatment with your healthcare provider and by tracking health & fitness activity with third-party Google Fit compatible apps. If you’re just starting out, MOVE! Coach can access your existing Google Fit height and weight data, and synchronize your progress recording weight entries with Google Fit.

Don't bother! This is typical of government using low bid contractors. Full of fluff with the meat and potato stuff being cumbersome. I recently had to change phones. All data was lost AND the search function is not working. I would be better off spinning around in circles for the amount of time spent screwing around with this and entering data. This is no more than a calorie tracker with no cloud backup that I can find. Counting calories is obsolete!!!! I can't say enough bad things about this

I used it for two years as a weight tracker mostly, and it was awesome. About 4 months ago, when I entered my weight it would lock up. I had to shut it down to save data. Reloaded it, changed phones with no help. Now all my data is gone. Watching the graph was my prime motivator. I really miss the goal setting and reaching it, then resetting it. Also being able to show my primary care doctor felt good.

This program has the core features of the commercial apps that can put nearly anyone on the path of good health, fitness and diet. There are no digital annoyances or in-app purchases. You can do as much or as little as you want. No frills, but who cares about that. It is well laid out, but you will have to manually enter your steps. Not a problem. It's customizable for food items that are unique to you. I like it, it puts me in control and not some over bloated AI software making choices.
