The AUTHENTICITIES Program is a coordinated effort of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in collaboration with the EU's Intellectual Property Offices to cultivate European citizens in order to obtain a product solely from them. European companies and the European economy from the infringement of Intellectual Property Rights.

EUIPO manages EU trademarks, designs and models applicable throughout the EU of orphan projects.

Greece participates in the AUTHENTICITIES Program in collaboration with the Industrial Property Organization (OBI) and the Municipality of Thessaloniki, aiming to highlight and certify Thessaloniki as an AUTHENTIC / AUTHENTICITY city, with sensitive products exclusively for consumers and special emphasis on young people. . The aim is to create and maintain a vibrant network of European cities that are constantly promoting the purchase of authentic products with the common slogan "The AUTHENTIC is eternal".

Within the framework of the Program, a number of actions will be carried out with the aim of informing the citizens, visitors and the Authorities of Imposition of Thessaloniki (SDOE, police, customs, port authorities) on issues of forgery and piracy.
