Its a great concept, but watch out it says products are safe when they are not. You need to read the labels as it failed to pick up coconut oil despite adding it manually and even worse didn't pick up peanut warnings on a number of products. Could prove fatal.
Review update: what would be great, a widget, one that takes you straight to the barcode scanner. It's the best I've tried so far, only down side is a lot of products I've scanned aren't in the database yet. Also a widget that takes you straight to the barcode scanner would be useful. But all in all a very useful app for someone transitioning to vegan
Being a vegan I'm finding this app great, well done. It doesn't find everything but that's no surprise as all items in all shops would be a huge database, and I presume from the message displayed you get notified when items are not found and will endeavour to add them. Being a software developer I realise you'll have the odd bug too, so I appreciate how this app has performed so far. Keep up the good work, I love it.
Looks promising but can't see how to add my many intolerances to onion, peppers, mushrooms etc etc
Looks ok but I'm allergic to garlic and that's not on there. If it's there in future I'll try it again.
It's a good idea but people have Intolerance to other food items which couldn't be added permanently e.g. citrus fruits, tomatoes, aspartame. When these can added I'll try the app again
