About this app

Here you can hear, see and read about the stonemasons' work and conditions for more than 100 years.
On the trip, you will also discover how humans have influenced nature and thereby created special natural conditions.
The guides on the trip are two long-dead stonemasons.
One, Silfverberg, was a stonemason and was born in Gønge Herred in Scania in 1876.
But emigrated like many other Swedish stonemasons to Bornholm.
The other guide, Sellberg, was a cobblestone and curbmaker, born in Olsker parish on Bornholm, by Swedish immigrants, on 19 May 1881.
The storyteller Jan Cirkola has cut and sampled the trip, and is the 3rd guide.
Produced by Bornholm's Regional Municipality in collaboration with Bornholm Museum.
