I love open camera, but if you can fixed the delay time since pressed the button to the photo taken, it will be great!! Anyway I gave 5 stars to this apps! Great job.
I had sex once (with a girl, true story!) and it felt awkward. I feel very open with this app. Replaced the stock S 4 camera for me because it simply takes better photos than Samsung's default. Great job! If you are looking at this donation page and still fence sitting about buying, give it a side by side of your stock app...
Nice photos, but... First impressions are very good. Photo quality on my Note3 is excellent. But it's slow, just like every other camera I have tried on my Note3. When I say "slow" I mean there is a significant delay between pressing the button and the photo being taken. Anyway, keep up the good work Mark, it's much appreciated :-)
Open camera is amazing This puts my stock Note 2 camera and any other camera on the market to shame. My photos being shot with a 8MP camera appear as though they are being shot with a 13MP camera. Software optimization is so vital and the developer of Open Camera got it right. So again I've never seen my Note 2 camera produce such sharp images.
Open Camera, shutter sound when disabled doesn't interrupt other audio. Awesome! As stated, the shutter sound trigger event does not interrupt audio, like music playing. This is a glaring flaw in Samsung's stock camera app on my S5. Thank you for this feature and keep up the good work. It is nice to finally have uninterrupted music while taking photos or video.
Viva Open Source! I have never donated to an application so quickly as I have for Open Camera and was laughing from the heart as I did it. The stock camera on the Nexus 5 has so many foolish bugs, whilethat app is so complete in its customisation, user interface, and technical quality it puts Google itself to shame... as it does all the Custom ROM providers that I've tried, to see if they had any answer for the stock camera problem. Open Camera fixes them all, abundantly, with something that's an immediate pleasure to use for both photo and video. (p.s.: for those who are having problems with that app on CM11, especially with Nexus 5, I would suggest SlimKat since switching fixed many such things for me.)
