Dash Wallet is the reference Android wallet maintained by Dash Core Group for Dash - Digital Cash - an innovative alternative to Bitcoin which is explicitly designed for payments.

Dash is a cryptocurrency that seeks to fix the flaws that other cryptocurrencies suffer from. It relies on a network of Masternodes to allow such things as optional privacy, instant transactions, and a direct funding mechanism to promote network growth.

Dash Wallet v7.0 brings with it a completely redesigned experience that seeks to enhance ease of use in an intuitive and familiar way across all your devices. We reimagined our recovery phrase verification process to highlight the importance of safeguarding this information for later wallet recovery, and users can now decide when they want to take the time to write down their 12-word recovery phrase. We have also added shortcuts to the home screen for quicker access to commonly used features and our menu has been repositioned in the app and organized to help users configure their wallet faster and more efficiently. Users now have much broader control over their security settings and the ability to decide how frequently they have to enter their pin code.

Ratings and reviews

I've been investing into crypto for a while and just recently bought DASH and found the DASH pay wallet. I'm blown away at how easy it is too use and pay for anything I need. Now I feel like I can dump conventional banking and use crypto and block chain as I've been wanting to and as it was intended.

Super intuitive and smooth. The contact list feature is very useful. I've also found businesses in my neighborhood and lots of other users who I can use the app with. it works well with QRs generated by other sites or businesses.

I think it's a great tool for the digital asset Dash. The android wallet allows you to access crypto exchanges, find atms and places to spend Dash. A very cool feature is the ability to produce more Dash through the crowdnode feature. I really hope to see this on the iOS version soon and hope to see a way to vote directly from the same app at some point in the future. If possible, the only recommendation I would have currently, is changing the share link to say Dash instead of darkcoin.
