About this app

The Openwater Photogrammetry app helps researchers quickly capture guided photo scans of a subject while wearing the Open-LIFU transducer, producing image sets suitable for 3D reconstruction and targeting workflows. It is designed to work seamlessly with the Open-LIFU ecosystem and can be used either with Openwater’s optional cloud services or with the Open-LIFU desktop application at no additional charge.

With Openwater’s Cloud Services (separate subscription), photo collections are securely uploaded for fast, cloud-accelerated 3D reconstructions and sent to the Open-LIFU workstation. Without a cloud subscription, the app can still be used to acquire and transfer photo collections to a local workstation for offline, laptop-based reconstruction using your existing workflows.

The Openwater Photogrammetry app and associated services are intended for research and educational use in conjunction with Open-LIFU and compatible tools to assist with 3D reconstruction and spatial registration between a subject and device geometry. These tools are not cleared or approved by the FDA, are not intended for diagnosis or treatment of any disease or condition, and should not be used as a standalone basis for clinical decision-making.
