I recently signed up for AnonAddy and downloaded this app (originally from F-Droid) since it was recommended by AnonAddy. After using it for a few days I was blown away and switched to the Play Store version to help support development and get automatic updates on my phone. I was amazed that I could control every aspect of the account (with the exception of billing). The built-in backup feature is also a really nice addition. I was able to switch over without having to set it up again.

Positive: Material 3+You. Exposes all functionality that the website provides. Negative: Can't perform any actions offline and then have them sync later. Doesn't have a bug tracker. Requires API key to sync rather than OAuth.

I have tried to install on two devices. One device running Android 8.0 works perfectly. The other running Android 7.0 could not be made to work even after a factory reset so I can only assume that the app needs Android 8 or above although this hasn't been confirmed by the developer. The app itself is excellent and a shame I couldn't get it to work on both devices, maybe a fix in the future.

Hi Ken, I'm sorry for the late reply. Are you using a self-hosted instance? Can you try generating the API key again? I just tried it on my side and it works here. It might have been a hickup with the server. I'm here to help!

What's new

- Fixed crashes when opening the app from intents in some cases
