Colombianos en Chile was the mobile app launched on November 8, 2016 in Santiago de Chile through the organization of Immigrants Berracos in Chile.
Because information continues to be scarce in 2021 for the Colombian and immigrant community in Chile, we decided to launch this free version, without advertisements, as other platforms created by Chileans have done for years.
We also want to promote the registration of Colombian identity cards in Chile so that they can participate in the elections of 2022 due to the complex situation that our country is going through in 2021.
The idea of this space is to be able to deliver timely and direct information on procedures and news that are really essential for the immigrant community in Chile.
For years we have tried to replicate the complex situation faced by thousands of immigrants in Chile, including migrant girls and boys who until January 2021 have been waiting for a visa for more than 24 months from the immigration and immigration department.
