About this app

The Bird Atlas Program (MAP) was launched in 2014, first to serve the data collection of the European EBBA2 program (2013-2017) and the Hungarian Bird Atlas Book (2014-2018). The MAP database developed for this purpose will be operated after the completion of the mentioned data collections, and today it plays a central role in the ornithological data collection work of the MME.

The MME Monitoring Center launched the Everyday Bird Monitoring (MMM) program in 1998 to monitor long-term changes in the populations of our common, well-known nesting birds.

The biggest advantage of using the application is that you will have to spend much less time in the MAP and MMM desktop database, which is already familiar to many people. You can upload the data collected in the field directly to the databases, and Turdus will perform many tasks for you that you have spent a lot of time on.
