GA VFR is a modern mobile application based on the NetBriefing system, designed to support pilots with essential flight information directly on portable devices. By connecting with ground infrastructure, it helps reduce ground-to-air radio traffic and minimizes the risk of airspace infringements.
The application enhances flight efficiency and pilot situational awareness by providing access to real-time and offline aviation data, including airspace information, weather updates, and flight planning tools.
This would include, for example, the transmission of static and dynamic airspace data, but it may also include the display of information on surrounding cooperative air traffic (ADS-L mobile from GA VFR mobile applications).
This application will also collect and distribute information related to the operation of unmanned aircraft systems, and a data communication platform with portable devices could be built into this infrastructure.
Given that the onboard portable device and the information provided will only provide background information, this application shall not be treated as a safety-critical development.
Only registered users are entitled to use the VFR mobile application, not exclusively, but with other registered users, without passing on the right of use.
The VFR mobile application can only be used for private purposes, as per the terms of use. Use for business purposes is excluded.
Please note: Location access enables the moving map, position sharing within the system, and track logging. Sharing live position and tracking data is part of the terms of use. The user can choose from different flight profiles.
