About this app

The FUTÁR application by BKK Centre for Budapest Transport has been renewed under the name BudapestGO, which, in addition to real-time route planning, has been extended with new functions: you can buy digital single tickets, daily and weekly travelcards or passes in the application and you can also be informed immediately about the current transport service changes. You can use the route planner with a cleaner and clearer interface, facilitated by a number of new features.

New features in the app:
- Ticket and pass purchase, journey planning in a single app
- Digital single ticket now also available
- Automatic pass renewal
- Traffic information (BKK Info application integrated)
- Personalised transport updates via push message
- Trip planning for trains and suburban railways available with a BKK-pass
- Simplified interface
- You can buy local or intercity tickets and passes for most municipalities in Hungary.

Ratings and reviews

App is inconsistent; twice it would not validate monthly passes when boarding a bus, and once it randomly thought my pass was attached to another device (I don't have another device). Walking home with a 4 year old wasn't fun. Fare apps need to be 100% consistent and this app just isn't. Stick with paper passes and tickets unless you want to risk being kicked off at the bus stop.

My bank requires the verification of purchases through its own app which means that you have to leave the BudapestGO app for a moment then come back. When you do so, the page resets, so it is genuinely impossible to finish the transaction. Horrible app design to have this happen, as the app is then useless to anyone whose bank employs basic security measures.

The app could logout you in random times and will not log you in!!! Updates always logout you and miss your creds, payments Aland other stuff... My add was bought on different device? really? store generated device on the device such stopped idea, it's not a demn iphone!!!! you should fire your dev team!
