On Time is a widget for your launcher that allows you to only display apps you need at any particular time slot of the day and auto categorize your apps into Smart Folders

It also works as Tasker plugin to create your own conditions for your chosen apps on the custom widget

Make your phone smarter by making it show an app only when you need it .

Step 1. Open the app and select the apps you need for every time slot - Morning, Afternoon and Evening

Step 2. Place the widget to any of your home screen

Step 3: The widget automatically updates at every timeslot to show the pre selected apps

An Example Use Case:

•I listen to my Music only at Night

•I read my News and Email only in the Morning

•I play Games on my Phone in the afternoon

4.5 Would love to give this a 4.5. Only has it for a few hours but my only request thus far is cool icons for the smart folders. The on time icon just isn't visually directive enough. Update: proposed solution by developer is not a feature of this app but rather of the selected launcher; not applicable to the Google now launcher. Also would be great to add shortcuts to the widgets.

I haven't use it for much time yet but it is what i was looking for. I have several locations profiles in tasker and now with this app but needed to have a lot of apps in my desktop to satisfy my needs when I was in the office, gym, home... Now everything is organize and I just see in my desktop the apps i really need for each situation.

Big bug.. It fails to update the list of installed apps.. Keeps showing names of (now) uninstalled apps which missing the newly added ones. Makes it useless. Please add a button to refresh/rescan the list. Other than that.. Great concept.

I find it very useful. Clean interface and easy to use. Unfortunately struggling to get Tasker to load the correct configuration but at this point in time I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong. Planning to mail the Dev directly regarding this.

Beautiful, Innovative, Clever, Minimal, Functional, Clean "Automation Collection (Requires Tasker);" is Tasker another app I must purchase to have custom (Automation) Collections as widget? 😯 Preset catagories based on app type for drawr widget really freaked me out, but in a good way. Suggested feature: side scrolling capabilities in displayed Time Collections widget. Also, I'm in love with you.

Tasker integration is fantastic. Only minor gripe so far is that icon packs that use masking for icons it didnt theme doesnt seem to be supported, but still 5 stars.

Thanks Alexandria. Tasker is the best automation app available on Android . Had to use it to power my app. They have a fantastic community and the best documentation. Automatic collection is only if you want to do powerful setups like , your homescreen showing up music apps when say you have reached the gym. Also. Love <3 you too.

Masking is becoming a little tough for retrieval . Bitmaps are essentially absent for that app in the icon pack and i have no info about that . Talking with an icon pack developer as of now to help me do that , but i hope you dont give up on the app because of that :)

Great concept! Can't find too many apps to provide contextual shortcuts, and Tasker integration makes it even better! If I could add shortcuts (instead of just apps) this would be perfect!

Awesome app with huge potential! Brilliant idea. Tasker integration a plus. I am already recommending this one, knowing that it will refine beautifully. The foundation is very solid. Two quick and simple things: instructions would be cool, a larger, or more prominent tap area for adding apps. This is soooooo useful, Thanks!

I love the idea and tasker integration. If I could set icons individually for each automation app as I do in a custom launcher it would be perfect. Applying icon pack doesn't work for all apps. As it stands it looks terribly clunky against a well refined launcher.

Very good Great app, having some difficulty with tasker but only had it a day or so. Would be nice to be able to increase icon size and grid size, as well as horizontal scrolling but I'm sure new features will come in time.

Tasker only Very handy and simple, makes other shortcuts widget seen unnecessary. Could support Locale and Automagic as they implement the same intents as Tasker. Don't know why the plugin is detect, configured correctly but doesn't respond to events on those two, only Tasker.

Really great idea and it's well executed. I would like to be able to change the time collection names or the number of phase changes. For example, i may want to change it to Morning>Work>Relax>Sleep

This is almost perfect! Using Tasker I now have location and time aware icons on my home screen. The only thing that would make this better would be if it worked with Automate, which supports Tasker plugins, but this one doesn't work with it for some reason.

Great but need a little more I really love this app and it works great with Tasker. I would love to be able to customize the look and feel of the smart folders. Make it not take up so much of the screen or make it look similar to the widget (I'd pay for that). Otherwise a great app.

Pretty good I love the ease of use with this app, just wish you could change the icons of individual apps within it. It looked kind of gross with only some of my apps in it having the minimal icon set I used. Or also the ability to rearrange apps beyond alphabetical order or use.

Tricky bug... I set up the widget 2x1 in the middle of many apps and the widget wouldn't work. Initially I thought the widget had a problem with the google launcher since I got it to start working for nova but I was wrong. I switched to nova so I could try it out and I imported my google now launcher settings. I configured all my other widgets and when I got to this one it wouldn't load either! I experimented and found out that it only works for me in any launcher if the app has empty spaces around it... Weird bug.

Great app Wonderful with Tasker. I would prefer an option to blacklist APS instead of whitelisting them, and to disable scrolling. (I.e., just show the most used apps in the group).

Well i am figuring your app usage based on the amount of app opens you have done via the widget , because reading the system app usage data would require a permission and people dont like that But yeah i am going to give an option to disable scrolling soon :)

love it I love it with the Tasker integration, but noticed that if there's only 1 icon it's a bit offset to the left.. could you add a alignment for the icons as well?

I like it, but I have one suggestion/request. Can you make a setting so that instead of scrolling down to see more apps, we could swipe to the side to see the rest of the apps that don't fit on the first page.
