If you had not designed such a flawed post code system in the first place this app would not be needed. Any post code that cannot be verified character by character as it is entered is a pain to use. And no ability to convert GPS coordinates to a post code is a huge limitation. The problem with only getting confirmation that the postocde is correct after entering all of it is that you don't know which digit was incorrect. Systems that verify the post code as it is entered automatically filter the available options as each digit is entered. This is not possible with a randomised postcode system. There are also many times when a user doesn't want to provide their full postcode e.g. when checking delivery costs of an item to an area instead of an exact address. The Eircode design a far cry from what is needed. A missed opportunity!
Great app. Im a courier and this app has helped find house that google maps couldnt find. If only it could find people expecting deliveries using a townland as an address with no eircode my life would be complete. Thanks for a great app.
Handy! Very good - would it be possible to add a default home location, rather than needing a satellite fix each time? Also, any plans for a desktop version? Could the entered Eircode be converted directly to coordinates to ease use on a SatNav?
Very Useful Seems like a very useful app. Easy to find, share and save Eircodes and address with others and Google Maps on my phone. I like it!
Super Integration This is the 'missing link'! It goes from eircode direct to Maps and off we go!
Put in home address and it says I'm 15 km from home . But I was in my home at the time ?
