The news is not updated often especially after 6pm and weekends. Plus it tends to be Dublin centric. Needs somebody to make a proper effort. News is not the civil service, it does happen outside nine to five.

The recently updated app appears to be a big improvement on its predecessor. However there is no apparent way to return to the sub-menu you were browsing, without going into main menu. If I use the back button on the phone it kicks me out, this for me is a problem which needs correcting. Also my saved articles are missing

The latest update has some serious issues. I've been using this app daily for years and I've had to uninstall it. - pressing back from a story closes the app instead of just going back to the previous menu. - but worst of all it just locked up my phone completely, I've never seen an app do that before. No buttons on the phone would work and I couldn't even restart the phone normally. Had to hard restart it!
