What is Project Euler?
Project Euler is a series of challenging mathematical/computer programming problems that will require more than just mathematical insights to solve. Although mathematics will help you arrive at elegant and efficient methods, the use of a computer and programming skills will be required to solve most problems. For more information on Project Euler, visit http://projecteuler.net/about
Note: If you any problems that you've solved only within the app but not yet on the ProjectEuler.net, they will appear with a yellow tick instead of a green and are also listed under 'Solved Here' list filter. You must manually answer these problems to enter the correct captcha.
This app now requires two permissions:
1. Internet: Your Internet connection will be used to connect to your ProjectEuler.net account, should you decide to use that feature.
2. External Storage: Any new problems that are published after problem number 420 will be downloaded and saved on the external storage.
Have you ever wondered who you were developing the project plan for and if there was any point?
At some time, every project manager runs into such a project. One of the reasons for that situation is a lack of clarity in the purpose and audience for project plans. In this article, I'm going to deal with the second part - who are you writing the project plan for.
Knowing who your audience is and why they are reading your work is a key factor in success as a writer. Just as much for a project manager as it is for a novel writer, or a self-help writer or an article writer. Meeting your audience's needs is a key success factor. It converts a bunch of words into a moving article or an emotion grabbing report. It can mean the difference between your project plan being read or skimmed or even ignored.
There are two distinct major audiences for your project plan. The first is management. These are the people who are tasked with spending money wisely. Who are tasked with accomplishing the business of business. The second major audience is the project team. This is the group of people who will be accomplishing your project for you. In addition to these major audiences, there can be a number of variations including customers, end clients, and peers. But for our purposes we're going to focus on the two major players.
Management includes the sponsor, the steering committee and others who might have an interest in the project. Management's principal interest is in the probability that the project will complete and that it will be performed at the best possible cost. The definition of cost, of course, can vary from project to project. It can be expressed in terms of time, duration, money, or management involvement. As a result they are going to focus on four elements in your project:
• What are you doing
• When will it be ready
• How much will it cost
• What are the risks
• Why are you doing it
• Do you have control
Your project plan needs to focus on answering those questions in order to grab their interest. Anything else is, at best, of much lower priority. In fact, providing extraneous information can cause your managers to begin micromanaging the project. This leads to one of the standard problems between project managers and senior managers. I'm referring of course to the belief that the schedule is the whole of the project plan. And the resulting pressure to get on with it.
On the other hand, your project team's focus is on the tasks that make up the project. Your project team consists of the people who will be working on the details of the project as resource managers, information sources or product delivery specialists. They are the subject matter experts whose job it is to deliver the product. Their interest focuses on the following questions:
• What am I doing
• When do I need to start
• When do I need to finish by
• How long will it take
• What do I do if...
In theory, you want people to understand the whole of the project. You want them to know where they fit in. That way they can make decisions that work well within the overall task. But in the real world, most people aren't interested. Their focus is on their portion. What are they responsible for? Your project plan needs to answer this for them. In addition, they also need to know why they are doing it. But this is irrelevant from their point of view. The project plan is not the right method to communicate this information.
Construction Project management is the art of organizing and managing resources in an efficient method which completes the project at hand in the way it was meant to be. A project is a temporary task which creates either a product or service, so managing each individual one is a unique process. It's important to recognize all the dimensions needed to complete a project and act on them in an orderly fashion.
Construction project management differs from the general term of project management in the way that construction project management specifically refers to organizing a project regarding the area of construction. Also, much of construction project management is done digitally through software to ensure that nothing is left out. This works because sometimes it's easy for a project manager to forget a thing or two when he or she is stressed out from the time limits or budgets given.
Project management software helps individuals in keeping track of a complicated project which might easily become confusing if all the components are not kept organized. Things that need to be taken into consideration are appointments, communication, resource allocation, and more. Even people like subcontractors and employees need to be thought of and remembered to check up on their work progress and receive pay. People also use the software to make sure that various deadlines are met and that the overall project is completed on time, and that the many requirements previously calculated in construction estimating like staying in budget are met.
If you are interested in doing some research or feels that construction project management software if needed in your job, then looking at online construction software websites which rates different types of software according to requirements is a good first step. Once you know which construction project management software is right for you, then purchasing is the next step. However, if you're thinking of starting a business, then perhaps your very first concern should not be construction project management. The step before finding project management software is acquiring a good construction estimating software, and there are plenty of websites regarding that as well out on the internet. A website which satisfies both of these needs and more is http://www.web-based-software.com/reviews.asp. You can find a plethora of software regarding every aspect of construction that one could possibly need.
With a little bit of luck and some useful software to aid you in your company, it's time for you to succeed.

The Project Noah application has 3 modes:
Spottings: Grab a photograph of a plant or animal that you find interesting or want to learn more about, select the appropriate category, confirm your location, add some descriptive tags, and submit it. If you need help identifying species, no prob, just select the check box and the community will suggest species IDs
Location-based Field Guide: See what kinds of plants and animals have been spotted near you and learn more about them. Search through a map view, list view, or grid view of most recent spottings all based on your location. You can filter wildlife by categories so you can explore what you’re most interested in.
Field Missions: We work with labs, environmental groups, and various organizations to help them gather important data for their research projects. Missions can range from photographing squirrels or mushrooms to tracking migrating birds or invasive species. Missions allow users to contribute to ongoing research projects, but they can also be for fun and exploration.
With our website, http://www.projectnoah.org, we continue to build an active community where users can view submissions, help identify species, choose their favorite photos, follow their favorite contributors and discuss their encounters. Users can also make submissions directly from the web.
Our ultimate goal is to build the platform for documenting all the world's organisms and through doing this we hope to develop an effective way to measure Mother Nature's pulse. By encouraging the mobile masses to document their encounters with nature, we hope to build a powerful force for data collection and an important educational tool for wildlife awareness and preservation. We hope you'll support us by joining Project Noah today.

However Microsoft Project is a tool designed to help project managers with producing a project plan, recording expected durations of the various tasks within the project, working out the relationships between tasks, and assign resources to tasks. Once the project plan is in place, it allows for tracking the tasks in the project and where necessary rescheduling work. It allows reports to be produced to send out to the project team or to the various stakeholders.
Microsoft Project is not the easiest of packages to teach yourself, even with the aid of a book. However investing in Microsoft Project and in related training could make the life of a project manager much easier. After all, project managers do not always get the praise when everything goes well, but they do get the blame when things go wrong.
Without Microsoft Project training, many beginner users to the package are unaware of the benefits at looking at the relationships between tasks and the order in which they have to be done. With no links between tasks if the Start date of one task changes, the Start date of dependent tasks has to be changed manually. Those attending Microsoft Project training learn to enter the Start date of the project and create linkages showing the dependencies of tasks. Then if the Start date of one task changes, may be even the initial approval for the project, the click of one button, will allow all dependent tasks to be rescheduled accordingly
Having a project quality plan will help determine which quality standards are important to the project. It will also help to ensure that the factors and activities that are required by the stakeholders are included, while unnecessary activities are removed. It is also important to remember that quality is an ongoing process. By refining and improving processes, the end result is continually improved until the level of quality desired is achieved
A project quality team should have good communication with the project's key stakeholders, in order to determine their needs and their definition of quality. In every project, quality must be considered equal to in importance as the schedule or the budget. Schedules and budgets often require to be adjusted as the project progresses until the desired outcome is achieved. After all, even if the end result is on time and under budget, the project cannot be considered a success, if the quality does not meet requirements.
Quality Project Management Definition
Project quality management begins by defining the quality standards to be used for the project. This definition will come from the stakeholders, beneficiaries, and often from the overall standards for the organization. Careful identification of the quality standards will help to insure a successful project outcome that will be accepted by the stakeholders. In addition to quality standards for the end result of the project, there may also be organizational quality standards that must be met for the actual management of the project, such as certain types of reporting or project tracking methods.
Quality Project Management Characteristics
The deliverables of the project will be measured against certain characteristics that will determine their level of quality, dependent on how well they meet the needs of the stakeholders. Quality characteristics such as performance, functionality, suitability, reliability, and consistency are commonly used to measure the project's end result. These quality characteristics are not only applied to the deliverable itself, but also any processes or methods used to deliver the end product, such as equipment or computers. Therefore, the required quality characteristics must be fully stated and understood before any services, materials or equipment used in any part of the project are procured.
PROJECT QUALITY MANAGEMENT Plan
A quality plan should be written to state the overall activities and tasks that are needed to meet the project's quality standards. This plan will include a description of all relevant quality standards and definitions, as well as a description of all conditions that must be met to satisfy the stakeholders. The procedures that will be used to ensure that all quality standards are followed will also be part of the quality plan. All quality elements that are relevant to the project should be included, such as management responsibility, documented quality procedures already in existence, design and document control procedures and purchasing requirements. Procedures designed to deal with inspection testing, non-conformance and resulting corrective actions are also important, as are the methods by which quality records are maintained. The schedule for quality audits and any necessary training requirements should also be included.

To transfer data from the FREE version to the PRO version:
1. Open up the FREE application and go to the "Settings" page.
2. Click "Export to SD Card" and click "Export" when the dialog appears. This will overwrite any previously backed up data. This includes any back up data from the FREE or PRO version! They both use the same directory on the SD Card.
3. After seeing an "Export Successful!" toast, open up the PRO version of Assignment Planner.
4. In the "Settings" page click "Import for SD Card" and click the "Import" button. WARNING: This will OVERWRITE all current assignments, courses, and grades and imports all data from the backup. This is strongly discouraged if you have already entered a lot of data into the PRO version.
5. After seeing an "Import Successful!" toast, your data has been imported successfully!
This also works vice versa - transfer data from PRO to the FREE version. The data is backed up to an SD card directory assignment_planner_backup.
