WHY WE BUILT IT
Political debate is often reduced to 10-second clips taken out of context. That makes misinformation easy and accountability hard. VideoParliament restores context: every entry links to the full speech, a verified transcript and source metadata. Judge the words of your representatives for yourself — not through someone else's framing.
Democracy works best when citizens can see what happens inside the chamber. This app puts that archive in your pocket, free of charge, with no ads tracking your voting habits.
PRIVACY
We respect your privacy.
• No personal data collection — we do not require an account
• No tracking of your viewing or listening habits
• Your followed-politicians list is stored only on your device
• We never sell or share data with third parties
• Communication with videoparliament.ie is limited to fetching public content
