Reliable and useful. This has been more reliable than other apps of its kind so far. I would really like to see an AND/OR function added to conditions options so that tasks have to either meet all conditions or just one. Right now it is all or nothing. Also, the activity log needs to log in reverse so that users don't have to scroll forever to check if a task ran correctly. Other than that, it's great and I'm sure it will keep getting better.
Works great on 4.x, not so much on 5.x Used this for a while on Android 4.x but the app has limited functionality on 5.x (at least on my phone) owing to API changes. -1 star only because it could use some more fine-grained controls such as toggling GPS accuracy and cell data speed instead of just on or off.
Easier to use than Tasker ... and it's FREE Tried Tasker and found it much too difficult to use. I suppose it would be ok for power users but I was looking for something simpler and easier to use. Condi is just what I was looking for. A free app that's fairly easy to jump in and start using without having to go through a tutorial first. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I found the UI a little difficult to navigate at first.
Best automation app I've used I have had absolutely no problems with this app, unlike all the other automation apps I've used. Slightly limited in what it can do, but it's a university project, and it's completely free, so I can completely overlook this. Every other app I've used has been very inconsistent with the actual automation I set up. This app has never been confused about my location or what time of day it is.
Doesn't work Good idea but it doesn't work when I tried. I saved a task to disable everything (like the WiFi) when I sleep and it disabled everything right away, but my task was for 11pm and it's only 4pm. I even imported other people's tasks and still didn't work. It would just start the task immediately even if the condition is not met. Editing tasks is also a pain. Deleting a task would delete the wrong one; use Undo would mess up all my other tasks by adding things to it; It would also mysteriously add empty tasks.
Simple and effective I needed a replacement for my Motorola Smart Actions app, and this one is good. I am only using time triggers (conditions) to turn WiFi, Mobile Data, and Sync off, then after the time frame is over they are all set to turn back on. This does what it says it will do, and is simpler than a few others that I tried.
* restore is more reliable, doesn't reset on phone restart
