The Amirant test is measured by one score, so Zinuk starts from there: an estimated score estimate that is updated from each English practice, and is presented as a range rather than a point.
The structure of Amirant is the framework, and the same English practice serves both the English section of the psychometrics and the English matriculation in 4 and 5 units.
How it works
You take a short English level test. At the end, you get two things: an estimated range on a scale of 50-150 that shows where you stand today, and a personal practice plan that is built within the test itself, not after it. The range is an unofficial estimate of Zinuk and not a score from the MLA.
The score meter on the home page
With each login, you see the range, the next target, and an explanation of how it is calculated. There is no number that pops up out of nowhere here: each practice, each simulation, and each new word is fed into a single score engine, and a word-knowledge model tracks each word individually and knows what really fits and what only looks familiar. The estimate is presented as a range rather than a point because there is uncertainty, and Zinuk shows it instead of hiding it.
What the estimate does not do
It does not try to guess what will happen on test day. The real Amirante exam is computerized, adjusted, and calibrated by the MLA, and there is no official public formula for converting success rates to a score. Therefore, it is presented as a range only, the range is one standard error in each direction, and the index does not claim to be accurate to less than six points. Zinuk also does not show a rate of future improvement — only what has already happened is measured.
What to practice
• All types of questions on the Amirante test: reading comprehension, paraphrasing, and sentence completion.
• Original Zinuk practice questions, in the same structure and at the same level of challenge, so that test day will be familiar.
• A full simulation under test conditions, with a level estimate at the end — an unofficial estimate, not a MLA score.
• Numbered practice exams — Practice 1, Practice 2, and so on — with a full investigation of each mistake.
• Video solutions for every question you missed: see where your thinking broke down, not just what was marked.
• A daily program that is updated according to what happens in actual practice, not according to a fixed schedule.
Vocabulary that remains
• Gradual vocabulary journey: a new stage opens only when you truly master the words of the previous one.
• A word-knowledge model that maintains a separate state for each word, and returns to practice exactly what has been forgotten.
• And 12 more word games that are hard to stop, and all are built around words that are not yet settled.
• An English reading library to your taste — technology, sports, science, pop — with a translation for each word with a click.
• Reading comprehension is built from reading that is truly interesting, not from random English passages.
When something doesn't work
• AI trainer in Hebrew who knows where you're stuck, and explains at the reasoning level and not at the answer level.
• Full debriefing after each simulation and after each practice exam.
• Practice during class for students in the Zinuk course.
