It's great on my Samsung On LG V20, it can't switch to back camera. This is an amazing app though and I hope they/you can address the camera. I am a musician and I use Selvi to stream my lyrics and record video. It is the only app that does this. The LG V20 has a high quality back camera so I wish I could use it. I am using the Samsung for this still. If you are listening, developer, please help me out. It seems to me to be an easy fix. If you don't have the V 20, I'd be happy to test it out for you :)
Great design and functionality, however... There's one huge flaw. You have to save your file with the action button. Most modern apps save it your work automatically. My phone died, in most cases my work would be saved, but not here. Great app, great design, one simple flaw.
unfriendly interface, wrong orientation The icons are confusing and it takes some experimenting to figure out how to resize the text box, change the scroll speed, and change font size. Hopefully as development progresses, that will be explained in the help section. Once I became familiar with the program, It performed flawlessly on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. On my Nexus 10, I couldn't get the text window oriented correctly. (hardware problems) Still the best of the available teleprompter programs.
This is actually a great app that I would gladly pay a reasonable price for. But on the LG V20, you cannot switch to the front facing camera, which completely negates the teleprompter function. If you can't see the script while shooting yourself, you can't read it. The developer says the problem is with Android 7.0.. On a Samsung Galaxy S3 running Android 4.4.2, camera switching worked fine as did the entire application. I hope the developer addresses he issue with Android 7.x sooner rather than later.
It's a great app. I just wish that it would be simpler to adjust the speed. You have to play around with the blue thing on the bottom left of the text area. Pressing it and moving up and down adjusts the text size and pressing it and moving left and right will adjust speed of scrolling.
Great idea if it worked The idea is brilliant the execution sucks! The text does not scroll at all, the text does not resize, and the speed can not be changed. I tried to report a bug to the creators through the app and the email came back undeliverable.
