This is a great just what I was looking for. It was a little frustrating trying to get the incoming messages contents at first, but after reading up on the issue I've now got it working. For anyone looking to do the same use a local variable without the %
Works flawlessly with my Nexus Tablet
This is unreliable. It doesn't run 24/7, so it'll miss incoming messages.
Does the job but needs some documentation, screen shots of the steps, video
Would get 5 stars but for one thing - turn the power off - turn the power on - Tasker is working - MQTT is not - until you actually go to the MQTT app and click on it.... Surely this is not the intended behaviour??? Can we have a fix or am I missing something? Just tried TASKER starting the MQTT app - rebooted phone and MQTT said waiting for connection EVEN THOUGH the phone was actually up and running and connected - checked connection in MQTT settings - without changing anything - came back out and lo - it was working - needs some kind of check and recheck to ensure it stays connected at all times.
Works well but I seem to need to restart it every day. Is there a way of having it start automatically?
added Jelly Bean support
After you recognize the voice commands You can send a message MQTT. Switch also provides slide, keypad, text, and color control.
