COVA Punjab (Corona Virus Alert) App has been developed by the Government of Punjab to provide citizens with preventive care information and other government advisories. The app has the following main sections for citizens:

You will receive updates from the government, advisories, and instructions from time to time via PUSH notification on the App.

This App is used for Contact Tracing, Quarantine Monitoring and provides a channel for Vaccination Certificate and COVID Testing results.

This App will provide quick information and help to you. You should definitely visit the nearest hospital/doctor in case you develop novel coronavirus symptoms.

Ratings and reviews

It is a really good app. What I liked the most is that it has a feature of map where you can actually see the exact location of hotspots in your city and confirmed cases. However, the only drawback I felt is that there should have been search option in the map so as it easily check the cases in some other areas as well.

Too much slow, confirmed patients location not marked in the map, so not able to know the area where these confirmed cases. Showing that 'we are near 1.61 km to confirmed patient', but in map no marking done where the case is positive so that we can avoid by visiting such places. Hence nothing good in this app. It is even not good for nos and statistics, which we can find from TV, news, social media, google. Then why wasting time on this slow app. Developer must improve this otherwise not good

App is good but still incomplete. Please update the following: - Map functions are not friendly - Add the state-wise numbers when we click on states, that would make your app more useful. - Sign in should not be mandatory, you can ask details when someone needs covid care after checking box phase. - Awareness tab images is worthless without zooming to read texts.
