Aadhaar QR Code Scanner is official mobile application developed by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to provide facility of reading and validating the data present in QR code shown on eaadhaar and printed aadhaar card. The QR Code that is generated in e-aadhaar and aadhaar card is digitally signed by UIDAI and this application can read the QR Code to show the masked aadhaar number, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Address and Photograph of the resident. Post showing the data, the application will also validate the information against the signature and show it as “Aadhaar Data Verified”.

Meaningless app doesn't scan at all. Their results:- (1)This is an old version,upgrade it (2)Scan timed out and hence scanning is impossible..... If there was an option of giving Zero (0) stars,I would definitely not give them as Because I would HAPPILY give them NEGATIVE(-) STARS....... PLEASE DON'T FALL PREY TO THIS DISGUSTING APP

Why don't they check after updating things? The app is neither scanning the QR from physical document nor from pdf, jpg, etc versions. Even the inbuilt mobile QR scanner and other merchant scanners are scanning it and giving some result. The respective tech team is requested to look into this so that it can help us not trouble us.

only some adhar card can scan not all. it's bad thing that when need important info then unfortunately can't scan that adhaar card.
