I liked this app very much but I just cdnt edit the group daimoku option. I wanted to deleted the group daimoku I created but the was no option for it. Otherwise I enjoy using this app every day! Tx for including the pause button.
So glad that you worked on the pause suggestion. Thank u very much. This app is really superb. Good job. Well done.
The best of the bestest app for SGI members Three chairs for you and your team for developing this app and best of luck for future developments
The liturgy have the old silent prayers plz update
In my opinion the best app for SGI Buddhists, by far! Others can look and feel more sophisticated but this one is complete, intuitive, FAST and USEFUL. There are areas of improvement like design and a few small bugs, but the experience I had is wonderful.
I have tried just about all the daimoku tracker apps out there and this one is my favorite by far! It never resets the timer while I'm not looking (unlike the sgi usa app, which is why I stopped using it), the bell is very clear and has almost no delay and you can ring it multiple times quickly without a big pause in between (unlike many apps), it shows you clearly how much daimoku is left in your campaign and how many days, it tells you how much to chant today to continue on target to hit your goal, and much more! It also has amazing home visitation features, including the ability to call or email directly from your list of people (once you import them), see when your last/next home visit is scheduled, make notes about the visit, schedule directly into the calendar app you use, automatic reminders X many hours before the visit, a list of upcoming scheduled visits, and a reminder to schedule a home visit with people you haven't visited! It's amazing! You can also connect with friends who also use the app. It also has many endearing little touches, such as on the daimoku accomplished bar it ranges from "Kamakura" (which is zero) to "Kyoto" (which is 100%)! Very clever and charming way of incorporating the Gosho as encouragement to keep going! ("the journey from Kamakura to Kyoto takes twelve days. If you travel for eleven but stop with only one day remaining, how can you admire the moon over the capital?" p. 1026). Or the home visitation icon being a person on a bicycle, alluding, I'm assuming, to the fact that Sensei did so many home visits he wore out a bicycle! I feel like it is encouragement to keep going and making cause by doing home visits! Like the app maker is cheering me on! I also like the random changing encouraging quotes in many places. Under the "About & Help" menu, I really enjoyed reading "Dedicated to Sensei" and "Motivation". My husband has an iPhone and wishes there was an iPhone version! This app does have bugs, but it was not created by a professional but by a sincere, good hearted member working on this on his off time. It was created as a gift to Sensei, and when I use it it truly does feel like a sweet homemade gift for me too. I've never met you, but I really appreciate and thank you Siddharth!
