Nammalvar Ecological Foundation or Vanagam for short is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. G. Nammalvar, in 2009. Vanagam works to educate traditional farmers and consumers about Organic Farming and it's benefits. Vanagam is an Organic agriculture training institute.

Vanagam regularly conducts 3 Days Training Workshops where trainees are introduced to Organic Farming and related topic.

About Nammalvar.

G. Nammalvar (கோ. நம்மாழ்வார், 6 April 1938 – 30 December 2013) was an Indian green crusader, agricultural scientist, environmental activist, philosopher and organic farming expert, celebrated for his works on spreading Ecological & Organic farming practices throughout India.

He led the protest against the methane gas project started by Great Eastern Energy Corporation proposed in the Cauvery delta region of Tamilnadu.

He trained hundreds of youths and helped many farmers to be master trainers.

Nammalvar was the author of several Tamil and English books on natural farming, pesticides & fertilizers and was featured in magazines & television programs.

It's very interested app which will explain all things of vanagam with user friendly interface .......it's very very useful for who are first to know about vanagam ..... because I'm struggling to reach vanagam while I and my friends went vanagam first time ....on that time this app is not published ....now it will clear doubts...to know about vanagam ..... thanks for introducing this app ....and I really thankful for whole vanagam teams.
