About this app

Gulp is the BEST way to calculate a daily water consumption goal and track water consumption.

Helping yourself create good habits should be easy and simple! With Gulp's straightforward user interface and rich settings, tracking water consumption and staying hydrated could never be easier.

Features:

* Daily water consumption goal calculation.
* Pace ring to indicate where your water tracking should be at any given time of the day.
* Very easy water tracking.
* Reminders to keep water tracking throughout the day.
* Google Fit integration for a real-time water consumption goal.

First, Gulp will calculate a daily water consumption goal tailored for your body. Next, Gulp will help you track water consumption. To help keep pace, Gulp indicates where your daily water consumption should be at any time during the day by displaying a green ring adjacent to your water consumption.

Tracking water consumption with Gulp is easy! Gulp allows you to choose from several common container sizes, displaying their volume and a small, relevant image. Volumes can be displayed in metric, US, or imperial units. You can also add/remove custom container sizes to help your tracking be more accurate.

Gulp can provide reminders to drink water and track water consumption at intervals you specify, helping push you to create habits and stay hydrated!

Google Fit integration is now live! With Google Fit integration enabled, Gulp is capable of producing a REAL-TIME water consumption goal! Gulp will periodically query your Google Fit datastore for your current weight and the amount of exercise you have done today. Your daily water consumption goal will update based on your current weight and the precise amount of exercise you have done the current day.

Of course, if you do not use Google Fit, you can manually specify your amount of daily activity and Gulp will pad your daily water consumption goal with a fixed amount of extra water!

Coming soon:
- Home screen widget
- Multi-language support
- Achievements with Google Play Games Service

Please email me at andrew.dahm@gmail.com if you encounter any bugs or wish to request a feature be added to the application. Please remember Gulp is intended to be fast and lightweight. I would like to keep the user interface as straightforward as possible because tracking your water intake should be quick and easy.

I love how simple this is. I DEFINITELY appreciate that the whole version of this is ad-free. It's effortless and intuitive to use... The fact that it syncs with Google Fit is just icing on the cake. I wish the reminder notification sound was customizable instead of my standard device notification, but it's really not that big of a deal compared to issues I've had with other water tracking apps.

I went through about 4 other apps before deciding on this one. I like the simplicity of it and the ability to change the amount you drink per entry. I don't always drink water from a water bottle so thats nice. I do however wish the was a history so that i could see my previous days intake and to also be able to amend a previous day if you forgot to add your last bottle or glass.

Lightweight, unobtrusive, handy. If you want an easy way to have regular reminders to drink water and a way to log your daily intake- here it is. The app doesn't have some of the more complex features of others e.g no weekly graph. Whilst the addition of plotting water intake over time would be excellent, I don't expect perfection from a free and non-monetized app. The dev has done a great job in making something light that does the job just fine.

What's new

This small update adds a confirmation message when deleting water to help prevent unwanted deletion. I am still working on history functionality.
