About this app

MiniAlarm is a simple alarm clock that does one job: it wakes you up on time. No ads, no account, no internet. It takes up less than a megabyte.

WORKS RIGHT AWAY
Open it, set a time, done. The first screen is your list of alarms, not a wall of permission requests. Nothing is asked until you have created your first alarm yourself.

ALWAYS RINGS
An exact time, not an approximate one. The alarm survives a reboot, an app update, a daylight saving change and a new time zone. Doze mode does not hold it back: the alarm is scheduled the one way the system never defers. The ringing screen lights up on its own, even on a locked phone.

NOTHING EXTRA
No internet. None at all: the app does not hold that permission and physically cannot go online. No account, no ads, no in app purchases, no data collection.

- Repeat on weekdays, weekends or any days of the week with one tap
- One time alarms for a specific date
- Skip just the next ring and keep the alarm switched on
- Pause mode: on vacation, every alarm stays silent until the date you pick
- Quick alarm: "in 10 minutes" in two taps
- Snooze with a limit on how many times
- Three melodies of mine, any phone ringtone, or your own file
- Volume that rises gently
- Turn off or snooze by turning the phone face down
- Volume keys during the alarm behave the way you configure them
- A home screen widget with the next alarm
- Export and import the list as a file: move to a new phone without a cloud
- A "Why an alarm may not ring" screen that honestly shows what is holding the alarm back on this particular phone and takes you to the right settings. Especially useful on Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei and Samsung with aggressive battery saving
- Light and dark theme, English and Russian

WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO
There is no timer, no stopwatch, no wake up missions, no sync and no cloud here. If you need those, I also make a big alarm clock: you will find it among my other apps.
